School Advisory Forum (SAF)
What is the School Advisory Forum?
- Primary communication between school and community
- Can take up any issue at any time. Often is the vehicle used to share information about the School Improvement Plan and waivers
- Everyone in the school community is a member and encouraged to speak.
- Follows a process that has the ability of linking schools through the Area Advisory Council and rhe District Advisory Council.
- Has a set method of sharing successes and failures through the area. Allows schools to benefit from another school's experiences.
- NETWORKING!!!
- Open Forum for Global and Community Concerns
- SAF has the ability to address issues and concerns immediately: these can be but note limited to boundaries, communication, dress code,curriculum, ESE,ESOL, legislation, Magnet Programs, Safety, Testing, and Transportation.
